Innovation:
Bedancefit was a dance and fitness studio that offered adult dance classes to Beyonce songs.
-
BeDancefit’s pain points were low attendance rates as well as having issues with their local competition. They also didn’t really have an MVP.
In the boom of Beyonce, we created Beyoncesize.
-
It all started with 1 video.
- Video direction
- Video editing
- Content creation for social channels. -
Content creation: videos for Instagram and Facebook with the right hashtags. I had to be clever due to copyright issues as Facebook were quick to delete any posts related to Beyonce.
I designed their website, event posters, merch, and everything that involved visual design.
Creating the experience included wearing the experience and sharing the experience online. -
This class evolved into a community of empowered women that helped them stay active but also grow confident in themselves and their bodies.
The success of this class meant that additional revenue streams were created with Beyonce hens parties, marriage proposal flash mobs and corporate Christmas Party experiences.
The business was sold in 2019.
