Project Overview

The Problem

Injured workers and case managers have a low awareness of the return to work services available, only 5 are commonly used.

Return to work support isn’t offered early enough in the claim journey.

What we found out

Injured worker research told us we don’t have the return to work basics right.

Currently RTW services and support aren’t tailored to individual injured worker or employer needs.

The Opportunity

To embed best practice return to work planning into the recovery and return to work phases of the claim. To tailor return to work planning and service offering by connecting the injured worker and employer with the right service at the right time.

The outcome we wanted to achieve

  • Get the timing right

Ensure injured workers and employers get the right support at the right time.

  • Return to work

Help injured workers return to work earlier

  • Make it easier

Reduce admin burden for Case Managers

The Solution

A knowledge/information tool such as a return to work services catalogue, to raise Case Manager awareness and understanding of RTW product and services and enable them to better tailor the services to injured worker and employer needs.
